Who runs ICAO Photos
ICAO Photos is an independent online service operated by Arif Ali (sole proprietor), India. ICAO Photos is an independent service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), any government, embassy or passport office.
How we check your photo
Each photo goes through an automatic analysis: we find the face, measure head size and eye position, check background, light, sharpness and expression, and compare the result with ICAO Doc 9303 and the size, background and pixel rules recorded for the document you chose. Where a problem can be fixed afterwards – background, crop, framing – we fix it. Where it can’t, we ask for another photo instead of selling one that is likely to be rejected.
Sizes and rules come from the published sources of each country. See ICAO photo requirements and all countries.
